Today's in-class discussion: Faith
In the book that I'm reading, "feed," the main character thinks he has finally found the girl of his dreams. Since it is spring break, he tries to take her to all the hot spots around. Every time the author talks about Violet he makes their relationship look like it's going somewhere, but in Marty's perspective he thinks that his friendship is going nowhere at all. I believe that Marty has a lot of faith to think he is going go out with Violet because so far everything he does just goes wrong....faith in that Violet is his one true love...faith in that everything will come back together.....

I do believe i can see how the main character in your book sees this girl as some kind of a sing, maybe a sign form god that something good could happen for this character.

Wow that sounds like a really good book. Whats the name of it? What does it have anything to deal with science fiction?
Nice post Rey. It seems your book is about Marty and his love Violet. Good example of faith but are there any more in your book? What is the main conflict in your book so far?

So far, there were not any better examples of faith in my book. The main conflict right is that Marty and all his friends are being held in a hospital for questioning and other tests...
